Scope & target areas

01

Interior resin floors and pedestrian areas

02

Roof or wet-area waterproofing where the system is suitable

03

Corners, curbs, drains and local repairs

04

Separate assessment of polyurethane-cement systems for relevant hot-wash areas

Assessment to handover

Assess → Agree scope → Test → Execute → Inspect → Maintain

  1. Define floor versus waterproofing use and assess water, heat, load and movement.
  2. Assess moisture, drainage and adhesion; prepare the substrate.
  3. Design primer, joints, drains, edges and reinforcement.
  4. Apply layers within product-specific mixing and environmental limits.
  5. Select texture and topcoat for exposure and cleaning.
  6. Inspect cure, continuity and agreed thickness; hand over return-to-use conditions.

Inspection & reporting

  • Clear system classification and product records
  • Continuity, joints, drains, bubbles and cure
  • Agreed waterproofing or adhesion tests where required
  • Water/traffic release and cleaning guidance

Scope & application conditions

  • Polyurethane systems do not share identical resistance properties.
  • Waterproofing membranes are not universal industrial wear surfaces.
  • Resolve persistent moisture, leaks and structural defects first.
  • Consider slip under actual water, oil and cleaning conditions.
